This month the Chapter Chatter Book Club will be discussing The Friendship War by Andrew Clements. Grace accidentally starts a new button collecting fad that spreads from her class, to her grade, and then the entire school. Ellie is Grace’s best friend, but she isn’t used to Grace getting all the attention. Usually it’s Ellie that gets noticed more. Can Grace stop the fad that she started, and keep her friendship with Ellie from ending? Children in grades 2-5 are invited to the library to discuss the book, and start their own button collections! Attendees should read the book before the meeting and bring the book with them; copies will be available at the library.
