This month we will be discussing Unusual Chickens for the Exceptional Poultry Farmer by Kelly Jones; Sophie and her parents move to a farm after inheriting it from a great uncle. When a cranky chicken who can move objects with her mind appears, farm life gets a lot more interesting. Children in grades 2-5 are invited to the library to discuss the book and participate in related activities. Attendees should have read the book before the meeting and bring the book with them; copies will be available at the library.
