Nibbling on Native Plants

Have you ever been in your backyard or in the surrounding woods, and wondered, Can I eat that plant? Join us as we welcome expert forager Russ Cohen as he presents a slideshow featuring native edible wild plants suitable for nibbling on and for planting in your own backyard. In addition to providing identification keys and foraging guidelines, Russ will bring samples of foraged goodies and drinks to try. This program will be held at the Sterling Senior Center. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Sterling Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
