Spoon Carving with Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival

Wednesday, May 155:30—8:00 PMBaker RoomConant Public Library4 Meetinghouse Hill Road, Sterling, MA, 01564

We are excited to welcome back Tim Swanson of Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival as he teaches patrons the art of spoon carving. This special two and a half hour class will cover knife safety, sharpening techniques, carving methods, and aftercare. During the program each participant will carve their very own spoon to take home with them. Please do not register if you participated in the February Spoon Carving Program in order to give other patrons a chance to attend. If attendance or waiting list spots are available a week prior to the program, February attendees will be permitted to register at that time. Sterling residents will be given priority in registration; after one week, open spots will be given to non-residents in the order that they registered. This program is sponsored by the Mass Cultural Council. For adults ages 18+

Note: Registering could result in your party being placed on a wait list. If that is the case, and we are able to move you to the attendee list at some point, you will receive an email from us confirming your attendance at the event.
